56.3.2 Example of Viewing a Packet Capture File

Here is an example of a packet capture file viewed in the Wireshark packet analyzer. Notice that the
size of frame 15 on the wire is 1514 bytes while the captured size is only 1500 bytes. The ISG50
truncated the frame because the capture screen's Number Of Bytes To Capture (Per Packet)
field was set to 1500 bytes.

56.4 Core Dump Screen

Use the Core Dump screen to have the ISG50 save a process's core dump to an attached USB
storage device if the process terminates abnormally (crashes). You may need to send this file to
customer support for troubleshooting.

This column displays the label that identifies the file. The file name format is interface
name-file suffix.cap.
This column displays the size (in bytes) of a configuration file.
This column displays the date and time that the individual files were saved.
