Changing the default settings

Memory transmission

Default setting: ON, scans all documents to memory before sending.
Note: When the machine's memory is full, it can transmit only through the docu-
ment feeder (real time transmission).
Note: When you use the
glass, the machine always uses memory transmission

To change the default setting of memory transmission:

Quick Memory transmission (Dial while Scanning)
Default setting: ON, scan the first page to memory then begins sending while
remaining pages are being scanned.
Important: Your fax machine's memory transmission feature must be turned on
to use Quick Memory transmission (see above).
To change the default setting of Quick Memory transmission:
