Mailslot Access

Chapter 2
The mailslot is located in the upper right-hand drawer of the
Note
library.
The mailslot can be accessed from the
screen.
Main Menu -> Operations -> Mailslot Access
Home Screen -> Mail
1. The screen displays a message indicating the number of
Mailslot Access
tapes in the mailslot and how to open the appropriate drawer.
Open the drawer. The drawer will open only to the number of storage slots
that have been configured for the mailslot (see
on page 93).
2. Close the drawer. The library automatically detects the closure, locks the
drawer, and initiates an inventory check.
