DLC/LLC Protocol Information
Provides the current status for the DLC/LLC network protocol.
Message Description
Indicates the current DLC/LLC protocol status.
READY: Indicates the HP Jetdirect print server is awaiting data.
DISABLED: Indicates that DLC/LLC was manually disabled.
STATUS:
INITIALIZING: Indicates that the print server is registering the node address or name. An
additional status message may also be displayed.

02 During self-test, the print server detected an internal loopback test error. The print server
LAN ERROR- may be faulty. If the error persists, replace the print server.

03 The print server is incorrectly connected to your network or is defective. Make sure your
LAN ERROR- print server is correctly attached to your network. In addition, check the cabling and
EXTERNAL connectors.
LOOPBACK
07 Check the network connections. If the connections are intact, run the power-on self-test:
LAN ERROR- turn the printer off, then on again. If the error persists, replace the print server.
CONTROLLER

08 There is a network congestion problem.
LAN ERROR-

Note: If the print server is not connected to the network, this error cannot occur.
