The subnet mask tag. The
subnet mask will be used by the
HP Jetdirect print server to
identify the portions of an IP
address that specify the
network/subnetwork number
and the host address.
The gateway IP address tag.
This address identifies the IP
address of the default gateway
(router) that the HP Jetdirect
print server will use for
communications with other
subnets.
DNS (Domain Name System)
server's IP address tag. Only a
single name server can be
specified.
The syslog server's IP address
tag. It specifies the server that
the HP Jetdirect print server
sends syslog messages to. For
more information, see Appendix
A.
The host name tag. This tag
does not take a value but causes
the BOOTP daemon to
download the host name to the
HP Jetdirect print server. The
host name will be printed on the
Jetdirect configuration page, or
returned on an SNMP sysName
request by a network
application.
Domain name tag. Specifies the
domain name for the
HP Jetdirect print server (for
example, support.hp.com). It
does not include the host name--
it is not the Fully Qualified
Domain Name (such as
printer1.support.hp.com).
Extensions file tag that specifies
the relative path name of the
TFTP configuration file.
Note: This tag is similar to the
vendor-specific tag T144,
described below.
Tag for IP addresses of the
NetBIOS-over-TCP/IP Name
Server (NBNS). A primary and
secondary server may be
specified in order of preference.
DHCP IP address lease duration
time (seconds).
