Analog Multiline Telephones with
Voice Announce to Busy
Use this procedure to dedicate a voice/voice pair to be used to provide the
Voice Announce to Busy feature to an analog multiline telephone.
The extension number associated with the first (odd-numbered) station jack in
the pair is the telephone's extension number. The extension number for the
second (even-numbered) station jack is dedicated to the Voice Announce to
Busy feature. Calls cannot be placed to the station jack reserved for the
Voice Announce to Busy feature.
An extension number cannot be dedicated for both the Voice Announce to
Busy feature and the Simultaneous Voice and Data feature.
NOTE:
This procedure does not apply for MLX telephones (Voice Announce to
Busy is automatically provided) and cannot be programmed for single-line
telephones.
