answer immediately.
System terminates recording of
name, greeting, or message before
user finishes.
Subscriber unable to log in
to Voice Mail.
Busy signal received when calling
into Voice Mail.
Your Response
The system may be administered for
delayed answer, or the MERLIN II
R3 system may have been set for
delayed ring or no ring.
Check the modular cords on the
MERLIN MAIL system unit to make
sure they are securely connected.
Be sure the recording does not
exceed the time limit set for it,
then rerecord it.
Check to see that the password is
correct. Make sure the person
having difficulty logging on is a
registered subscriber.
All lines are in use or maintenance is
being performed on the unit.
