Using Client Builder
The following procedure assumes that you have already installed the
Client
components of the Neoware Image Manager on the hard disk
drive that will be used to create the client image. You must be
logged on as a user with administrator privileges.

Before running Client Builder you must always make sure the
NVDD server module is running on the Image Manager server,
and is serving a non-bootable virtual disk to the client running
Client Builder. A non-bootable virtual disk called
supplied with Neoware Image Manager.

To launch the NVDD server module so that it serves the non-
bootable virtual disk (e.g.
to the directory containing NVDD then type one of the follow-
ing at the command prompt:

Close all applications on the client computer.

(Optional but recommended) Defragment the hard disk partition
from which the image will be created using the
