Creating a Client Image
50 Using Client Builder
Important: When you create the image file on the server, if the
image creation takes more than 5 minutes per gigabyte of parti-
tion, this implies that the global performance of your system is
not adequate. You may then have problems when using diskless
clients, especially when using several clients at the same time.
You should investigate why the image creation is slow. Look for
problems in the server hard disk, network, server resources and
client network resources. You may increase performance with
updated drivers for the server and client NIC and server HD
controllers, and also with a defragmentation of the server drives
before the image is created.
