Assigning Volumes to Clients
The drop-down list box will list all the bootable volumes currently
associated with the group. Select the name of the default volume to
OK
boot from then click
.
Note that if there are two or more bootable volumes associated with
a group, when you switch on a client that belongs to that group, it
will display a list of the volumes available to boot from. If you do
not select a volume from the list, after ten seconds the client will
automatically boot using the default volume specified here. (Refer to
the section "Enabling Client MultiBoot" on page 235 for more
details.)

Assigning a Volume to a Group

The name of each volume in the Console Volumes list has a check
box next to it. This indicates whether the volume is assigned to the
currently selected computer group in the Clients list. Selecting a
computer name in the Clients list will indicate the volumes associ-
ated with its group. You can easily select or deselect volumes for a
specific group by selecting the name of the group (or a computer
within it) then clicking the relevant Volume check boxes.
Volumes can be shared by any number of computer groups and can
be used as a boot disk or as storage. The volume used by a group to
Group Properties
boot from is specified in the
dialog, which is dis-
played by double-clicking on the group name.
