Running Neoware UbiBoot
The following basic procedure describes how to create a Windows
system hard disk that can boot a variety of PC hardware configura-
tions. It assumes that you have already installed the
nents of Neoware Image Manager on a regular IDE hard disk
containing a correctly configured Windows installation in partition
C: (partition size should not exceed 10 GB), and an image of that
partition has been created using Client Builder.
1
Boot a client device off an image containing Neoware UbiBoot.
Note that the mode ( Admin mode, Volatile mode, etc.) does not
really matter as long as you run UbiBoot and then Active Cloner
without rebooting between the two operations.
2
Log on as a user with Administrators Rights.
3
Run Neoware UbiBoot from the
Programs
Neoware
>
UbiBoot

Note that you can also run the Neoware UbiBoot executable
