TX-CIP Description

The TX Matrix router contains one or two TX-CIPs—one for each Routing Engine—that
install vertically into the front left of the chassis in the slots labeled
Figure 21 on page 39). The TX-CIPs are referred to as
electrostatic discharge point is located near the bottom of the TX-CIP.
The TX-CIP is hot-removable and hot-insertable.
