7.5 Changing the suction plate
1. Attach the lifting device to the carrier device
(crane, construction site vehicle, etc.) using a
suitable sling.
2. Switch off the vacuum generator.
3. Loosen the vacuum hose (5).
4. Carefully lift the lifting device only so far that the
suction plate is relieved.
5. Swivel the latch (7) upwards and pull the suction
plate out to the side.
6. Attach a new suction plate to the lifting device
see section 7.4 Attaching the suction plate,
P.30).
7. Store the unused suction plate in a suitable
place.
7.6 Handling wet loads
The lifting device is not intended for the suction of wet loads.
NOTE
Failure of the vacuum pump due to moisture!

Remove water from the suction surface before suctioning.
Switch on the vacuum pump after handling.
Allow the condensation to drain off.
Push the manual slide valve (25) to the right against the spring force.
Allow the vacuum pump to run dry for at least 5 minutes.
Set the main switch to 0.
