6.3 Tests before commissioning

1. Check that all screw connections are tight.
2. Check the tightness of the vacuum system

3. Check all functions of the lifting device:
 Load suction
 Replace load
 Warning device
4. Perform several lifting tests with one load.
Lifting attempts : The installation is complete when the following conditions are met:
•
After the power supply fails, the load is maintained for at least five minutes (only
with suction-tight loads).
•
The load to be lifted has sufficient inherent stability so that it is not damaged
during gripping and handling.
The tests required in Europe in accordance with DIN EN 13155 prior to commissioning are cove-
red by a type test.
