7.11 Charging the battery

CAUTION

Do not handle the charging cable with wet hands.
NOTE
Overheating and formation of explosive gases.
Explosion hazard!

During charging, ensure that the environment is sufficiently ventilated.
Charge the battery after each use so that the product is always ready for use.
To charge the battery, only the supplied charger may be connected to the charging socket (19). See the opera-
ting instructions for the charger.
The battery can remain connected to the supplied charger without interruption (intelligent charge management).
1. Set the main switch (22) to 0.
2. Connect the charger to the charging socket (19).
3. Observe the display on the charger (see operating instructions for the charger) and the charge status dis-
play (23).
 YELLOW lights up: The battery is 80% charged.
 GREEN lights up: The battery is fully charged.
4. At the end of the charging process, disconnect the charging cable from the charging socket.
5. Set the main switch to 1.
 The lifting device is ready for the next operation.
