5 Transportation and storage

5.1 Protective equipment

The following protective equipment is required for handling:
• Safety shoes safety class S1 or better
•
Sturdy work gloves safety category 2231 or better

5.2 Check delivery

The scope of delivery can be found in the order confirmation. The weights and dimensions are listed in the de-
livery documents.
1. Check the entire consignment for completeness using the enclosed delivery documents.
2. Report any damage caused by inadequate packaging or transportation to the forwarding agent and Probst
immediately.
CAUTION
Battery damaged during transportation
Risk of explosion due to sparks or naked flames!
Danger of chemical burns due to leaking acid!

5.3 Removing the packaging
The appliance is delivered on a pallet and shrink-wrapped.
NOTE
Sharp knives or blades
Damage to the components!
•
1. Remove marked transportation aids and fuses.
2. Open and remove the shrink wrap.
3. Dispose of the packaging material in accordance with the country-specific laws and guidelines.

Keep sparks and naked flames away from the lifting device.
Have the battery replaced by qualified personnel.
Wear acid-resistant work gloves.
Wear safety goggles.
When opening the packaging, ensure that no components are damaged.
