a week (during continuous operation).
 Take the product out of operation and mark it as defective as soon as a safety device does not function
properly.
9.4.1 Checking the pressure gauge and warning device
Test the function of the warning device before starting work.
✓ The manual slide valve (25) is closed.
1. Set the main switch (22) to 1.
 The warning lights (26) flash red until the minimum vacuum is reached.
2. If the warning lights do not flash, shut down the lifting device and have the warning device checked.
3. Place the lifting device on a test load with an absorbent, smooth surface, e.g. a metal sheet.
4. Open the vacuum supply.
 The load is sucked in.
 Do not lift the load!
5. As soon as the vacuum has built up, create a slight leakage at the sealing lip.
 The negative pressure on the pressure gauge decreases.
 If the negative pressure falls below the minimum vacuum of -500 mbar, both red warning lights must flash.
The alarm threshold of the warning device is set to the lifting device at the facto-
ry. Never adjust the alarm threshold.
 If the pressure gauge does not display the above values, shut down the lifting device and have the warn-
