5. Press the locking button
slide valve (25) spring-loaded in the direction of
the arrow .
 The load is sucked in.
6. Ensure that the load does not stick or tilt.
7. Observe the pressure gauge. Only lift the load
when the minimum vacuum of -500 mbar has
been reached and the warning lights are no lon-
ger illuminated.
Never lift the load before this, as it will fall.
8. As soon as the warning lights have gone out,
carefully lift the load (operate the lifting aid in the
feeder).
9. Compensate for any swinging movements with
the operating handle.
10. Immediately after picking up (e.g. from a pallet or
truck), lower the load to just above the floor.
11. Attach the load securing chain (4) to the suspen-
sion hook (4.1).
Do not reach under the load. Pull the chain
sideways under the load and attach it to the sus-
pension hook.
