1. Set the main switch (22) to 0.
2. Loosen the two upper fastening screws (17.1)
and lift off the appliance cover (17).
3. Disconnect the battery plug.
4. Unscrew the battery cables.
5. Remove the empty battery (18).
6. Insert the charged battery (18) into the battery
compartment.
7. Connect the battery cables. Make sure the pola-
rity is correct (see illustration).
8. Connect the battery to the battery plug.
9. Ensure that the battery is charged (see charge
level indicator).
10. Dispose of the discharged battery in accordance
with local regulations (> see chapter Decommis-
sioning and recycling).
 The lifting device is ready to lift the load.
