Recovery Interval — Defines that amount of time that passes after which ports
that were shut down through LBD are moved to Active up state. The possible
field range is 30 - 86400 seconds. The default is 300 seconds (5 minutes).
Web – Click Layer2, Loopback Detection, Properties. Define the fields, and click
Apply.

CLI – The following is an example of the CLI commands used to configure LBD
globally:
Console (config)# loopback-detection enable
Console (config)# loopback-detection mode src-mac-addr
Defining Loopback Detection Interface Settings
Th Loopback Detection Interface Settings Page contains parameters for viewing and
configuring the Loopback Detection status of individual interfaces on the device.
Command Attributes
• Interface — Select the type of unit for which Loopback Detection information is
displayed. The possible field values are:

Unit — Displays the Loopback Detection status for interfaces of the
selected stacking member unit.
–
LAGs — Displays the Loopback Detection status for LAGs.
The Interface Settings table contains the following fields:
• Interface — Displays the interface number.
• Loopback Status — Displays the Loopback Detection status for the interface.
