Matrox Helios boards
The Matrox Helios family consists of six members: three PCIe compliant,
single-slot, frame grabbers, and three PCI-X compliant, single-slot, frame
grabbers.
The PCIe compliant boards are Matrox Helios eCL, Matrox Helios eA, and
Matrox Helios eD. The PCI-X compliant frame grabbers are Matrox Helios XCL,
Matrox Helios XA, and Matrox Helios XD. The PCIe compliant boards provide
the exact same features as the related PCI-X boards, except for the way the boards
connect to the Host bus.
Acquisition with Matrox Helios eCL/XCL
Matrox Helios eCL/XCL is a high-performance Camera Link frame grabber. It is
available in two factory-configured versions: a dual-Base version and a single-Full
version. The dual-Base version supports simultaneous acquisition from two
completely independent Camera Link video sources utilizing the Base
configuration. The single-Full version supports acquisition from a single Camera
Link video source utilizing the Base, Medium, or Full configuration. Both versions
can operate at full Camera Link speed.
