Adding boards to the Matrox Supersight Solo unit
When adding PCIe boards to the Matrox Supersight Solo unit, the following
critical points should be considered:

• For Matrox Supersight SHB-Q170, one PCIe 2.0 switch communicates through
a dedicated x16 interface. The second PCIe 2.0 switch communicates through a
dedicated x4 interface.
• Be aware that with Matrox Supersight SHB-Q170, when using it in the 13-slot
Matrox Supersight Solo backplane, the add-on boards connected to the SHB by
its x4 interface will have a more restricted transfer rate.
