Programming Manual
INDeX 9.1
Call Control Plans contain call routing settings for use by trunks and pilot numbers.
The INDeX supports up to 500 Call Control Plans.
Several trunks and pilot numbers can use the same plan. This simplifies INDeX
programming and the speed of implementing changes to INDeX programming.
Call Control Plans are also used by Users for DDI call redirection.
As a summary, each Call Control Plan controls:
– The Dialling plan number and Line Selection string for ARS.
– The ACA Music on Hold source for trunks (not applicable INDeX 30).
– The Include on Smdr setting for trunks.
– A Call Distribution sub-menu that contains:
– Day and Night Disposition settings and Announcer Plans.
– Call queuing Priority and Incoming Queue number settings.
– Night service Area for trunks.
– A Call Timers sub-menu that contains various timers.
Call Control Plan 1 is the default plan used for new trunks, pilot numbers and
users. Thus it is important to always have valid values set in that plan.
Note: Changes to Call Control Plans can be broadcast to all other INDeX systems
on an INDeX Net (see page 35).
Each call control plan can be given an identification name to aid in identifying its
usage.
To set a call control plans name :
1. From the Administration menu, select Call control plan and enter the plan's
number.
2. Select Identification and enter a name of up to 15 characters.
