Installing an Additional Battery Module

Additional battery cabinets may be installed in this battery cabinet a maximum of six months after the battery cabinet is
first commissioned.
Procedure:
1. By measuring the voltage at -POL and +POL, verify whether the DC output voltage of each new battery module is
between 78.4 V and 78.6 V.
2. If the DC output voltage of a new battery module
3. is outside the range between 78.4 V and 78.6 V, contact Service.
4. By measuring the voltage at Charger+ and Charger-, verify whether the DC output voltage of each installed
battery cabinet is in the specified range.
5. If the DC output voltage of an installed battery cabinet is not in the specified range, contact Service.
6. Increase the state of charge of the battery cabinets already installed to 20%. To do this, charge or discharge the
battery.
7. Disconnect the battery and battery inverter from voltage sources (see Section 11, page 119).
8. Mount additional battery modules in the battery cabinet.
9. For the additional battery modules, connect the DC cables within the battery cabinet.
10. For the additional battery modules, connect the communication cables within the battery cabinet.
11. Recommission the individual battery cabinets.
12. Commission the inverter.
13. Reconfigure the inverter.
