8 Electrical Connection
Procedure:
• Connect the supplied grounding cable to the battery cabinet
grounding point (hexagon socket, AF13, torque: 8 Nm).

Communication Connection

8.7.6.1

Connecting the Battery Communication System within the Battery Cabinet

1. Plug the 6-pole connector of the communication cable from the supplied APU connector set into the BAT COM
socket on the battery management system.
2. Plug the 8-pole connector of this communication cable into the
COMM IN socket on the uppermost battery module. Lay the
communication cable over the DC cable.
3. Plug the 6-pole connector of a communication cable from the supplied module connector set into the COMM
OUT socket on the uppermost battery module.
4. Plug the 8-pole connector of this communication cable into the
COMM IN socket on the next battery module. Lay the
communication cable over the DC cable.
5. Incorporate the rest of the battery modules into the communication cabling within the battery cabinet, working
from top to bottom.
