5. Grasp the expansion backplane brace at both ends and pull it out of the
server chassis. Use care when guiding the assembly out of the unit to
prevent damaging the boards.

Removing an Expansion Slot Cover

To install a PCI or an ISA expansion board, complete the following steps:
1. Locate the correct vacant slot in the expansion board.
