12.7.1
Adapting the diagnostic behavior
Each item of diagnostic information is assigned a specific diagnostic behavior at the
factory. The user can change this assignment for certain diagnostic information in the
Diagnostic behavior submenu .
Expert → System → Diagnostic handling → Diagnostic behavior
You can assign the following options to the diagnostic number as the diagnostic behavior:
Options
Description
Alarm
Measurement is interrupted. The totalizers assume the defined alarm condition. A
diagnostic message is generated.
Warning
Measurement is resumed. The totalizers are not affected. A diagnostics message is
generated.
Logbook entry only
The device continues to measure. The diagnostic message is entered in the Event
logbook (events list) submenu only and is not displayed in alternation with the measured
value display.
Off
The diagnostic event is ignored, and no diagnostic message is generated or entered.

In the case of some items of diagnostic information, the status signal and the
