4.5 LAYOUT AND CORRECT ARRANGEMENT OF THE
CABLES
In the Technogym Run, it is mandatory to correctly arrange the cables, preventing the cables from
being pinched when the belt is moving and the equipment moves with a gradient.
WARNING: The rubbing of the cables with the running surface causes the wear of the plas-
tic / insulation protection up to create a short circuit: a potentially dangerous condition for
the user.
Therefore, follow strictly the recommendations indicated in the paragraph below:
• There must be a minimum amount of excess cable (during installation, the equipment must
be brought to the maximum gradient of 25%: there must be a minimum amount of excess
cable in these conditions);
• There may not be any segments of excess cable near/below moving parts (tread belt,
carriage);
• The cable must not be located along the path of the carriage's wheels;
