6.10 MESSAGE ON THE DISPLAY: 'DC MOTOR FAULT-
PRESS "YES" TO QUIT THIS MESSAGE'-ERROR
07 DC GRADIENT MOTOR ENCODER
In the case of error 07, the following message appears on the display: 'DC MOTOR FAULT
- PRESS "YES" TO QUIT THIS MESSAGE'.
Click the YES button on the display to try to make the error disappear. Only if the error persists or
if the machine does not work correctly, see the following troubleshooting procedure:
Message on the display : 'DC MOTOR FAULT – YES TO EXIT' = Error 07 DC gradient motor encoder.
Upgrade the SW of the High Kit. Upgrade the FW of the
Low Kit. Perform the standard setting. Problem solved*?
CHECK THE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE MICROSWITCH, [1].
If the microswitch is pressed, the circuit must be open.
If the microswitch is not pressed, the circuit must be closed.
Does the microswitch function correctly?
YES
Disconnect the gradient motor from the drive. Insert
the tips of the tester in PIN 1 and PIN 2 of the gradient
motor cable, [2]. Is an open contact measured?
Turn off the equipment. Wait a few seconds.
Turn the equipment back on.
Does the machine move with a gradient?
YES
Does the drive supply the +5V to
the Hall sensor of the gradient
motor? [5]
YES
Replace the gradient motor.
Problem solved?*
YES
