STEERING AND FRONT SUSPENSION
CONTROL ARM REMOVAL
1.
Disable the vehicle.
2.
Electric Vehicle: Disconnect the batteries and discharge the controller.
Gasoline Vehicle: Disconnect the battery and spark plug wire.
3.
Remove the front wheels.
4.
Remove the bolts (1).
5.
Move the rack and pinion (2) to allow clearance for the control arm bolts (Figure 7-19).
