Gasoline Vehicles
• Accelerator: With the key switch in the ON position and the Forward/Neutral/Reverse switch in the FORWARD
position, as the accelerator pedal is pressed, the engine should start and the vehicle should accelerate smoothly to
full speed. When the pedal is released it should return to the original position. All Club Car vehicles operate at

on a level surface.
NOTE: The 12 to 15 mph (19 to 24 km/h) is for fleet golf cars. There is an optional 19 mph (30 km/h) speed kit available
for non-fleet golf cars, these vehicles should be set between 18.5 and 19.5 mph (29.7 and 31.3 km/h).

MAINTENANCE

See General Warnings on page 1-2.
To ensure trouble-free vehicle performance, it is very important to follow an established preventive maintenance
program. Regular and consistent vehicle maintenance can prevent vehicle downtime and expensive repairs that can
result from neglect. Use the Pre-Operation and Daily Safety Checklist beginning on page 10-2, the Performance
Inspection, and the following Periodic Service Schedules and Periodic Lubrication Schedules to keep the vehicle in
proper working condition.
Any vehicle not functioning correctly should be removed from use until it is properly repaired. This will prevent further
damage to the vehicle and avoid the possibility of injury due to unsafe conditions.
Contact your local Club Car distributor/dealer to perform all repairs and semiannual and annual periodic service.
