MUFFLER

MUFFLER REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery and spark plug wire.
2. If necessary, remove the oxygen sensor (1) from the muffler (2) (Figure 22-1, Page 22-1). See Oxygen Sensor
Removal.
3. Remove the nuts (3).
4. Remove the bolt (4) and washer (5).
5. Remove the bolts (6).
6. Remove the muffler.
7. Remove the exhaust gasket (7).
