Error Indications

Symptom
The System Information
screen shows "waiting" in
the IP Video Number field.
The home screen shows
"0.0.0.0" as the system's IP
address.
The system displays a
message stating that there
are too many global
directory entries.
Low battery icon on the
screen.

System Lights

Problem
The LAN is not working.
The DHCP server is not
available.
The LAN cable is not
connected.
The system was configured
for a static IP address of
0.0.0.0.
The system is configured
for DHCP, and no DHCP
server is available or
responding on the network.
The system is partially or
incorrectly configured for
firewall/NAT operation.
The system's global
directory display is limited
to 4000 entries.
Low batteries in the remote
control.
The system lights are located on the front of your V500 system.

Indicators are off

Diagnostics and General Troubleshooting
Corrective action
Check the LAN connection.
Contact your network service provider.

the system.
Go to System > Admin Settings > LAN Properties
and correct the IP address settings.

Global Directory Servers.
Replace the batteries in the remote control with 3
AAA batteries.
