 To verify the laser frequency
1. From the OMNIC software main screen, choose Collect > Experiment Setup.
2. Select the Diagnostic tab and click Laser Verification.
3. Remove any samples from the instrument (you can leave your accessory or sample holder
in place) and choose Start Verification.
When verification is completed, one of the following occurs:
• A message indicates the laser frequency has been verified.
• The newly measured laser frequency appears below the previously measured
frequency and a message indicates the laser frequency has been optimized.
4. Choose OK to finish.

The iD1 transmission accessory lets you collect spectra of transmission samples, such as thin
films, liquids in a liquid cell or gases in a gas cell.
Install the module as explained in Installing an Accessory.
