HORN
INSPECTION
Remove the left middle cowl (page 2-7) (CBR650RA).
Disconnect the connectors [1] from the horn [2].
Connect a 12 V battery to the horn terminals.
The horn is normal if it sounds when the 12 V battery is
connected across the horn terminals.
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the left middle cowl (page 2-7) (CBR650RA).
Disconnect the connectors [1].
Remove the mounting bolt [2] and horn assembly [3].
Remove the collar [4], two rubber mounts [5] from the
horn [6].
Installation in the reverse order of removal.
• When tightening the mounting bolt, align the stay
end of the horn with the stopper of the frame.
