Procedure 6 Replacement Check
The HDD peripheral component is composed of HDD, HDD pack connector, lower system
board, and upper system board. If one of the components may be damaged, disassemble the
T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT following the steps described in Chapter 4, Replacement
Procedures, and perform the following checks:
Check 1
Replace the HDD with a new one. If the HDD is still not functioning properly,
perform Check 2.
Check 2
Replace the HDD pack connector with a new one. If HDD is still not functioning
properly, perform Check 3.
Check 3
Replace the lower system board with a new one. If HDD is still not functioning
properly, perform Check 4.
Check 4
Replace the upper system board with a new one.
