Installing the Keyboard
To install the T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT's keyboard, follow the steps below and refer to
figures 4-14 and 4-15.
1.
Connect the keyboard cable to pressure plate connector (PJ8) on the upper
system board (figure 4-14).
2.
Seat the keyboard in the T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT. Note that a fold is build
into the keyboard cable. Do not try to bend the cable at any other point when
you install the keyboard (figure 4-15).
3.
Install the top cover, HDD pack, optional PCMCIA card, optional memory card
and battery pack as described in sections 4.6, 4.5, 4.4, 4.3 and 4.2.
