Push the PCMCIA card stopper to the right to release the card, then use coin to
slide the card release button on the bottom of the computer to pop the card
slightly out (figure 4-6).

Grasp the card and pull it out.

Installing an Optional PCMCIA Card
To install the optional PCMCIA cards in the T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT, follow the steps
below and refer to figures 4-4 through 4-6:
1.
To install a PCMCIA card into PCMCIA card slot 2, carefully insert the card,
making sure the card is right side up and the contact surface is inserted first (figure
4-4).
2.
When the card is almost fully seated, you will feel some resistance. Press gently
until the eject button pops out. Do not force the card into position.
3.
Close the slot cover.
4.
To install a PCMCIA card into PCMCIA card slot 1, carefully insert the card,
making sure the card is right side up and the contact surface is inserted first (figure
4-6).
5.
When the card is almost fully seated, you will feel some resistance. Press gently
until the PCMCIA card lock clicks into place to secure the card.
6.
Place the cover over the slot and press to snap it into place (figure 4-5).
7.
Install the battery pack as described in section 4.2.
