Installing the Top Cover
To install the T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT's top cover, follow the steps below and refer to
figures 4-11 through 4-13.
1.
Place the top cover on the T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT.
2.
Begin at the back and snap the top cover into place, continuing along the sides and
finally the front until all 14 latches are snapped (figure 4-13).
3.
Close the display.
4.
Secure the four M2.5x6 silver screws at the back of the T4700CS/T4700CT/
T4800CT (figure 4-12).
5.
Turn the computer over.
6.
Secure the three M2.5x30 screws and one M2.5x12 screw on the bottom of the
T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT (figure 4-11).
7.
Install the HDD pack, optional PCMCIA card, optional memory card, and battery
pack as described in sections 4.5, 4.4, 4.3, and 4.2 .
