Diagnostic Test Program Execution Check
The Floppy Disk Drive Diagnostic Test program is stored on the T4700CS/T4700CT/
T4800CT Diagnostics Disk. After loading Toshiba MS-DOS, run the diagnostic program.
Refer to Chapter 3, Test and Diagnostics, for more information about the diagnostics test
procedures.
Floppy disk drive test error codes and their status names are described in table 2-5. Make
sure the floppy disk in the FDD is formatted correctly and that the write protect tab is dis-
abled. If any other errors occur while executing the FDD diagnostics test, go to Check 1.

If the following message is displayed, disable the write protect tab on the floppy
disk. If any other message appears, perform Check 2.
