(b) Battery display
This option selects the way the status indicator panel indicates remaining
battery capacity when the T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT is not connected to
the AC adapter. The options are Time and % Remaining.
The status indicator panel indicates how much battery power is left. If you se-
lect Time the status indicator panel indicates an estimated time for which the
T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT can operate with the remaining battery power.
If you select the % Remaining, the status indicator panel displays a remaining
battery capacity in percent.
The status indicator panel displays a remaining battery capacity in percent
whenever the T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT is connected to the AC adapter.
Manual set of battery level
This option is displayed only if the status indicator panel cannot indicate the
charge level because the T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT cannot estimate the
remaining battery capacity. This option allows you to set the charge level of
the battery. A horizontal bar graph between the values E (Empty) and F (Full)
represents the amount of charge. You can manually set the charge level by
using the Space and Backspace keys. The options are:
The charge level you set here will be displayed on the status indicator panel
after quitting the system configuration program.
