Procedure 3
Quick Charge Check
The power supply may not charge the battery pack. Perform the following procedures:
1.
Install the battery pack to the T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT.
2.
Attach the AC adapter to T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT, then turn on the power.
(If you cannot turn on the power, go to Procedure 4.)
3.
Run the Diagnostic test, following the steps described in chapter 3, and select the
system configurations.
4.
Read the character on battery capacity display area of the status indicator panel.
If the character matches any of the code of the following tables, go to each
check item. If any of the character does not display, go to Procedure 4.

Check 1
Make sure the AC adapter's cable and AC cord are firmly plugged into the DC IN
socket and wall outlet. If these cables are connected correctly, replace the AC
cord and AC adapter.
Check 2
The battery pack will completely discharged. Wait a few minutes to charge the
battery pack. If still the battery pack isn't charged, replace the battery pack with a
new one.
Check 3
The battery's temperature will be hot or cold. Return the temperature to normal
operation condition.
If still the battery pack isn't charged, replace the battery pack with a new one.
Check 4
Go to Procedure 4.

The AC adapter is not attached, or AC adapter's output
voltage is abnormal.
The battery pack is not installed, or battery's output
voltage is abnormal.
The battery pack is not installed, or the battery's
temperature is abnormal.
The battery pack is fully charged.
