Note: Use of of the Fn+F5 hotkey for display selection has different effects on the
T4700CS and T4700CT/T4800CT.
For the T4700CS, the effect of the Fn+F5 hotkey depends on the Power on display
setting, as follows:
(a) Simultaneous:Toggles between Internal and Simultaneous (SVGA is not supported).
(b) Internal/External (No external monitor connected):Toggles between Internal and
Simultaneous (SVGA is not supported). (c) Internal/External (External monitor
connected):This hotkey does not work.
For the T4700CT/T4800CT, Fn+F5 hotkey changes the display in the following order,
regardless of the Power on display setting:
→ Internal → Simultaneous → External →

COM/PCMCIA/FDD/PRT
This option controls settings for PC card slots 1and 2, and serial and parallel
ports.
(a)
PC Card Slot 1 or 2
These options allow you to use the PCMCIA or other optional card on slot
1 or 2. If you set Other, you can set the next window, COM Port and
Power.

Use this option to set the COM level, COM1 or COM2, for the serial and

You can use the PCMCIA card.
This option allows you to set the COM port of the card
modem and power on/off in the following options.
Two COM levels for the card modem can be selected:
COM1 (IRQ4/3F8H) or COM2 (IRQ3/2F8H). If you
set this level to the same as that of the serial port, the
serial port setting automatically changes to Not Used.
This option allows you to turn the card modem on or
off.
