Optional Memory Card
Removing an Optional Memory Card
To remove an optional memory card from the T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT, follow the steps
below and refer to figures 4-2 and 4-3.
1.
Turn off the power to the T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT. Disconnect the AC
adapter, power cord and all external cables connected to the T4700CS/T4700CT/
T4800CT.
2.
Remove the battery pack as described in section 4.2.
3.
Open the cover to the expansion memory slot located on the left side of the com-
puter (figure 4-2).
4.
Grasp the plastic tab and pull it so that the card comes partially out of the com-
puter (figure 4-2).
5.
Grasp the optional memory card and pull it completely out (figure 4-3).
CAUTION: DO NOT touch the connecting edge of the memory card. Debris or
oil in or on the connector may cause memory access problems.
