Remove the two flat screws, securing the HDD to the case and lift out the HDD
(figure 4-10).

Carefully pull off the HDD connector (figure 4-10).
Installing the HDD
To install the T4700CS/T4700CT/T4800CT's HDD follow the steps below and refer to
figures 4-7 through 4-10.
1.
Connect the HDD connector to the HDD. Fit a slot on the bottom of the connec-
tor onto a tongue on the case and seat the HDD into the case (figure 4-10).
2.
Align the screw holes in the HDD and case, then secure the HDD with two flat
screws (figure 4-10).
3.
Place the HDD pack cover onto the case, align the screw holes and secure the
cover with four flat screws (figure 4-9).
4.
Apply the new VOID seal to the HDD pack.
5.
Insert the HDD pack into the HDD slot until you hear it click into place. Press
the HDD gently; do not force it. The HDD pack is designed so it will go into the
slot only one way (figure 4-8).
6.
Fit the latch on the HDD pack cover into the notch on the computer, rotate the
cover into place and secure the one M2.5x4 silver screw (figure 4-7).
7.
Install the battery pack as described in section 4.2.
