2. Wired Controller(YXE-E01U(E)/YXE-E02U(E))
Mute mode
The Mute mode reduces the noise by changing the fan speed of indoor unit
so as to keep quiet during operation at night.
How to activate:
1. Press the " " button under cooling/ heating/ fan state;
2. Press the " " / "
3. Press the " " button again to confirm the settings. And the air
speed will be " " (i.e. the air speed for mute operation) under mute mode.
How to cancel:
Repeat the operations mentioned above to select the "
Switch the "ON/OFF", "Mode", "Sleep", "Super cooling/heating" and "Energy-Saving" mode to exit
directly.
No operation Within 5s to exit settings.
Sleep mode
With the sleep function, the air conditioner will run in the mode of
comfortable sleep to improve comfort.
How to activate:
1. Press the " " button under cooling/heating/drying state;
2. Press the " " / "
3. Press the " " button again to confirm the settings to enter into
sleep mode.
How to cancel:
Repeat the operations mentioned above to select the "
Switch the "ON/OFF", "Mode", "Fan speed", "Super cooling/heating" , "Mute" and
"Energy Saving" mode to exit directly.
Button lock
After the wired controller setting is completed, lock buttons to avoid wrong
operation by children and others. All operations are disabled after button
lock function has been set.
How to activate:
Press and hold " " and "
function, and icon will be displayed on the LCD.
How to cancel:
Press and hold " " and "
LCD.
Filter cleaning resetting
(available for models equipped with filter clean prompt function; only professional staff should operate this function.)
When is displayed on LCD, indicates that the filter needs to be cleaned.

Buzzer indicator select
Default buzzer is valid during operation. If you need mute operation, press the "
3s to enter the mute mode. If you need it returns to normal operation, repeat the steps above.
Back light setting
By default, the back light is on and the indicator lights during operation. If you want to cancel it, do
not operate any button within 10s after the back light turns on. Then, the back light will turn off, If
you want to re-activate it, just repeat as mentioned above.
