Step 6 Install battery cables.

(1) Connect the ground cable of the battery string or its BBB box to the battery PE of the UPS
or the ground bar in the equipment room based on the site survey.
Step 7 (Perform this step only for the top air-flow configuration.) Install cables for the
top air-flow cabinet.

● Battery cabinet connection requirements: If the UPS capacity is 800 kVA or lower,
connect battery cables only to the power cabinet on the left. If the UPS capacity exceeds
800 kVA, connect battery cables equally to both power cabinets. If the number of
battery cabinets is an odd number, the remaining battery cabinet can be connected to
any of the power cabinets.
● The figure uses the cable connection between the UPS and the SmartLi as an example.
Battery cables are connected to each SmartLi.
Remove an accessory cover from the top of the top air-flow cabinet.
Connect the power cable to the 380~480V System port on the UPS, connect
the signal cable of the top air-flow cabinet on the left to the PU XS2-1 in
power cabinet 1, and connect the signal cable of the top air-flow cabinet on
the right to the PU XS2-2 in power cabinet 2.
