4. Align and position the mounting holes on the left side of the drive over the mounting tabs on the
drive carrier side rail (see Letter A).
5. Lower the other side of the drive into the carrier and press down until all mounting tabs lock in place.
6.8.2.3 2.5" SSD Replacement
2.5" SSDs are mounted to a 3.5" plastic mounting bracket that must be fully removed from the drive carrier
to replace the SSD.
1. Remove the two screws securing the SSD to the drive carrier
2. Carefully rotate the lower edge of the carrier rail upwards and push down on the mounting bracket.
