3.5.2
Riser Card Installation
The following riser card installation procedure is the same for all included riser card brackets and supported
riser card options.
1. Locate and carefully unpack the riser card. Hold the riser card by its edges. To NOT touch the gold
edge connector pins.
2. Align the riser card to the threaded standoffs on the mounting bracket.
3. Using the supplied screws, secure the riser card to the bracket. Tighten to 5 in-lb.

PCIe* Add-in Card Installation
All add-in cards connected to the riser card in Riser Slot #1 and Riser Slot #3 must be oriented with
component side up as shown in

All add-in cards connected to the riser card in Riser Slot #2 must be oriented with component side down as
shown in
