Installation and Reference for the BayStack 820 ISDN Router
The encryption feature encrypts data before it is sent out to the WAN, and
decrypts data when it is received from over the WAN. You can enable or disable
encryption per connection profile. The encryption key is entered as hexadecimal
digits (a hex digit is one of the following: fedcba0987654321).
Note: You can issue encryption commands only from a device on the local
LAN or a console directly connected to the router. You cannot configure
encryption over WAN interfaces.

SNMP Commands

Remote SNMP management consoles can access the set of MIBs implemented in
the router. MIB information is transferred from the router's SNMP agent to the
SNMP management console via SNMP "get" and "trap" commands ("set"
commands are not supported). Trap commands are unsolicited status messages
sent from the router to report management events asynchronously. you must
configure trap managers to receive these messages.
